Holiday Potluck Pack Meeting

There will not be a Pack meeting on Thanksgiving Day.  Pack 450 will hold the Pack meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2011.  We will have a Holiday Potluck.  Families are welcome to attend.  Every boy should bring a food item to share with the group.

IMPORTANT: Please do not bring any items with tree nuts or peanuts.  Our pack has children with severe nut allergies.  Cashews are especially dangerous.

Please send an e-mail to auburnpack450@blogspot.com to sign up for an item to bring.  Please plan to bring enough servings to feed at least 20 people (more if you can).  We have 22 boys (and their families) but we don't have 22 items on the list - after all items are filled, please consider to fill items that we will need more of - such as beverages and salads to make sure there is plenty of food for everyone.

Webelos Den: Fitness Activity Badge Worksheet

Edited Nov 13, 2011.... Webelos have one more week to complete the following activities in time to be awarded the Fitness Activity Badge at the December 1 Pack meeting.  Please complete the Fitness Badge Worksheet and bring it with you to the November 17, 2011 Den meeting.  Thanks!

The Webelos Den is currently working on the Athlete Activity Badge (page 124) and the Fitness Activity Badge (page 246).  On Thursday, they will also begin to work on the Craftsman Activity Badge (page 198).

Each Webelos boy was given a copy of a Webelos Fitness Badge Worksheet (also available here).    Please have your Webelos Cub Scout read the Fitness chapter (beginning on page 245), make a safety notebook and complete the requirements in this worksheet.  We would like to complete the Fitness Activity Badge on November 17, 2011 so the boys can be awarded the Webelos Colors and the Fitness Pin at the December 1, 2011 Pack Meeting potluck.  If your boy does not complete it by November 17, he will earn his award after he has completed the requirements.

Required Medical Forms

We need medical forms completed for all Cub Scouts in Pack 450.  Please click on the link below, complete and sign the forms and return them to your Den Leaders as soon as possible. 

In the Council name/No. line, type "Chief Seattle Council".
In the Unit No. line, type "Pack 450".
There is no need to complete the High-adventure base participants section - that section is intended for Boy Scout troops.
