Veteran's Day Parade

Pack 450 will be marching in the City of Auburn's 47th Veterans Day Parade.  As we march in this parade, lets show respect as we honor our country's veterans and active duty personnel.  This parade is one of the largest Veterans Day Parades in the United States.

All of the information about the parade can be found at the city's website: http://www.auburnwa.gov/things_to_do/community/vdp_s_p213.htm?EventMode=View&EventOccurrence=0

A parade map can be found here:  http://www.auburnwa.gov/Assets/Parks/AuburnWA/Docs/veterans_day_parade_map.pdf

Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. on F St. SE.  Note that parking will be difficult to find and some roads will be closed (street closures and detour routes: http://www.auburnwa.gov/Assets/Parks/AuburnWA/Docs/veterans_day_street_closure_detours.pdf ).  We are currently slated as 172 in line.  While the boys are waiting, they will be completing projects toward earning the Citizenship Belt Loop and Pin.  After the parade is over, please meet the Pack over at Veterans Memorial Park to complete the final projects for the Belt Loop and Pin.  The boys will be awarded their Belt Loop and Pin while at Veterans Memorial Park.

Please bring snacks, drinks and a lunch for your scout.  Wear your uniform.  Dress warm.
